The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest/celebrant in the celebration of all liturgies during the mass. This is done through specific action and setting an example to the congregation by active participation in the liturgies (hymn, responses, etc.). An underlying goal of this ministry is to expose young men and women to the religious life and ultimately serve as a catalyst for the promotion of religious life. Altar Servers serve God on his altar.

The mission of the Our Lady of Consolation RCIUA process is to explore and recognize God’s action and presence in our lives, in scripture and in the life, faith and worship of the church. RCIA explore the meaning of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection leading to a personal and communal relationship with the living God encountered in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

The primary purpose of the rosary Society is to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to secure her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary. We are an organization of women and men from all ages from all ages following Mary’s example of service aim of our church and outreach programs.
In the face of war, violence and tension, praying the Rosary is a conscious expression of faith. By meditation of Christ, we implore the gift of praise through the intercession of Mary and we ask her for the strength to be a peace maker.

The Sacristan Ministry serves Our Lady of Consolation parish as the fulfillment of its members sharing their faith and talents by serving God and His Church.
The Sacristan Ministry coordinates the preparation of all masses, Sacraments, and funerals. To ensure that the Mass runs smoothly, the sacristan prepares the vessels, bread, wine, and sanctuary, The sacristan is responsible for maintaining the inventory of vessels, hosts, sacramental wine, vestments, and all other items needed for the Liturgy.

The Welcome Committee of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church wishes to welcome, embrace and offer guidance to all new parishioners and to uses their gifts and talents in worship, fellowship and services.
As greeters, the Welcome Committee’s members are to provide a positive and hospitable experience to visitors, new parishioners, and current parishioners. We also, will provide fellowship, support and guidance to new parishioners in various manners.
