All parish youth who have already received first holy communion, regardless of enrollment in faith formation or youth in action, are invited to attend a special 11:00 a.m. Mass Celebration on the 3rd Sunday of every month: "Youth Sunday". All roles during the Mass will be performed by our youth and they will be given priority seating. Stewardship is an excellent way to grow in faith & knowledge about God and The Church. The Annual Lenten Fish Fry will take place each Friday during Lent beginning Friday, February, February 24th through Friday, March 31st. Fish or Shrimp dinners with the fixins will be served from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center, 1235 Badger Court, Charlotte. Dinners are $12.00 each. Take out only.
January 1 is the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, one of the oldest feasts in the liturgical calendar. OLC vigil Mass will be on Saturday, January 31st at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, January 1st Masses will be at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

The Annual Diocesan Youth Conference is a weekend-long event for high-school youth. This year's conference will take place on April 29 - May 1 at Ridgecrest Conference Center, Black Mountain. DYC brings together high school youth from around the Diocese for a theme-centered weekend of workshops, led by youth and adults alike, keynote speakers, entertainment, daily Mass, Adoration of Our Eucharistic Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and Confession, all time to grow in the Catholic faith. You are invited to the 11th Annual Carrie Kirkpatrick Golf Tournament which will be held at the Tradition Golf Course in Charlotte, NC on Friday, May 20, 2022. The tournament honors Carrie Kirkpatrick, known as the First Lady of Golf for African American golfers in the Metrolina area. Proceeds from the tournament are donated to a local food pantry housed and staffed by volunteers at Our Lady of Consolation (OLC) Church. Additional proceeds support outreach and youth programs in the Statesville Avenue area. The proceeds from this fundraiser are essential for the continuation of these programs.
