Parish Council - Collaborates with the pastor, addresses parish concerns as defined by the pastor and implements the pastoral plan and its maintenance...
Finance Council - Reviews and advises on matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish...
Capital Campaign Committee - Supports a targeted goal of raising significant dollars to renovate and improve the parish campus.
Black Culture Commission - Prepares and implements a calendar of cultural events, workshops, liturgies and inter-cultural dialogues for Evangelization and the African American experience...
Buildings/Facilities Commission - Inspects and inventories all parish properties, equipment and facilities; recommends needed additions, repairs, replacements and servicing.
Communication Commission - Develops close communication with parish commissions and organizations to facilitate communication and participation, sharing the Good News...
Community Commission (aka Community Outreach) - Promotes outreach programs and projects aimed at community improvement... Community Outreach Ministries include: Athletic Association, Health Ministry, Prayer Shawl Ministry, Shepherds Care HIV/AIDS and St. Martin de Porres.
Ecumenism Commission - Plans programs and experiences that will develop a commitment to interfaith dialogue, unity and healing divisions among Christians within the territory of the parish..
Education/Formation Commission - Works with the pastor and the Director of Religious Education to ensure the parish has adequate and quality religious education programs, and so every child has access to the program... The ministries include: Adult Education/Faith Formation, Bible Study, Faith Formation, Young Adult Ministry, Youth in Action, Youth Advisory Council, and Youth Support Group.
Parish Life (aka Family Life) Commission - Builds an internal parish family spirit, improves Christian Life, identifies and coordinates social and recreational needs of the parish... These ministries include: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Golden Wings, Knights of St. John, Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Guild, and Men's Group.
Liturgical Commission - Plans and assists with coordination of all liturgical and sacramental needs of the parish community, including the renewal of the laity in participation of liturgical celebrations...The ministries include: Altar Servers, Arts & Environment, Bereavement, Choir, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion/Proclaimers of the Word, F.L.O.W. Liturgical Dance, RCIA, Rosary Society, Sacristans, Ushers, and Welcoming.
Stewardship Commission - Assists the pastor and councils to cultivate a giving and cooperative environment to effectively fulfill the mission of the parish.
