We have heard and done a lot since this Coronavirus pandemic started. Be sure that I think of every one of you in my daily Eucharistic celebration. Life is a war that involves countless battles; some we might win, but unfortunately some others we might lose. No one is immune to failures and no one is guaranteed victories always. Some battles are within our powers to fight, but some are simply the Lord's. The fight against Coronavirus is ours to win, but the Lord's to fight. While our brothers and sisters in the fields of medicine, science and technology keep on working, the only weapon available and affordable to all is PRAYER.
Churches might be closed but our hearts should be focused on God in daily prayers: The stations of the cross and other forms of group, social media and individual prayers. It is surely of Divine making that this world crises comes up in Lent!
Remember your weekly offerings! The office is opened to receive your envelopes and the website is there for online giving. Our Church must keep running. Subsequently, we shall arrive at other ways of impersonal coming together in celebration of our faith and our family spirit.
May God strengthen you all during this period of desert experience!
