Please join Our Lady of Consolation & St. Peter Catholics Churches for a Black Catholic history presentation and discussion event on November 19, 2019 at 6:00 pm.  A Steve Crump documentary, “Facing and Uncomfortable Truth” is a movie about the struggles of African American Catholics in Kentucky will be shown followed by a discussion.  Refreshments will be available.  This free family event will take place at the OLC Parish Life Center.  Click here to download flyer.

The weekend of November 23-24, our second collection will be for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Over 40 million people in the United States live in poverty. This collection supports programs to empower people to identify and address the obstacles they face as they work to lift themselves out of poverty. By supporting this collection you give people a hand up, not a hand out. Your contribution will defend human dignity and help those living on the margins of our society.
