This award seeks to recognize, FROM THE DIOCESAN LEVEL, principles of Christ's love in the ministry and pastoral care. This award seeks to recognize outstanding individuals, groups, and/or parishes that exemplify the principles of Christ's love in the ministry of pastoral care. Christian Service Awards will be presented to outstanding youth in the Diocese at the Diocesan Youth Conference on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Application forms are available at the Church office. This award is given to priest or deacons of or in the Diocese of Charlotte who exhibit extraordinary love, devotion, commitment and outreach to youth and youth ministry. Multiple letters for each nominee are welcomed.
ATTENTION Youth Ministers and/or Youth Volunteers. If you have served as Youth Minister or Youth Volunteer in the Diocese of Charlotte for either 5 or 10 or more consecutive years and have never received a recognition pin from the office for Youth Ministry, please ask for a copy of the required form from the administrative staff. The form must be returned to the office by April 4th.
Bishop’s Annual Youth Pilgrimage to Belmont Abbey is on Saturday, April 4, 2020. The theme for the event is “Be Holy” (Peter 1:16) Lenten Retreat. This pilgrimage is an event in preparation for Eucharistic Congress.
